Meet Seth Fender
Building better relationships is a passion of Seth’s and he focus’s on creating a strong connection between each horse and rider, whether it be simply learning new skills, showing locally or competing successfully at a national level.
Seth Fender is a native to Loveland, Colorado where he grew up on his families mountain ranch in Pingree Park. Having always loved horses and instilled with a strong competitive side, Seth started showing horses at the age of 10 in local 4-H shows. By the age of 13, Seth was training his own horses under the guidance of local professionals, and successfully showing in breed shows. He spent his youth years competing successfully in APHA all around events.
Seth graduated from Colorado State University with undergraduate degrees in equine science and business. Later, he finished his masters in business with an emphases in education. After completing his degree’s and working full time, Seth had the opportunity to help out one of his childhood trainers who had become ill. Shortly after Seth began helping give lessons and train, his mentor passed. Soon, Seth realized his passion in life was teaching and with horses. From there, SF Performance Horses’s got its start and has continued to be a successful journey.
Today Seth enjoys coaching individuals of all ages and skill levels. He likes the challenge of finding and applying different coaching strategies for each individual horse and rider team. Building better relationships is a passion of Seth’s and he focus’s on creating a strong connection between each horse and rider, whether it be simply learning new skills, showing locally or competing successfully at a national level. Seth strives to tailor a program and schedule for each rider based on their goals and needs.
